LASERQUEST AT SKEGNESS PIER
Whether your’re 6 or 66 you’ll love the adrenaline pumping exhilaration of stalking your opponents and unleashing a volley of Laser Fire in the Battle-Zone of the next Century! The experience is exhilarating and immersive, with fun lurking around every corner. This is the ultimate in interactive entertainment!
Laser Quest is in essence a game of tag with a twist! Points are awarded every time you 'zap' another player, with points deducted every time you are 'zapped'. At the end of each game, scores are displayed on our plasma score screen, with each player receiving an individual score card that has a breakdown of the score.
Upon entering the airlock you will be equipped with a Laser Quest Pack and Gun that has flashing targets located on the front, back, shoulders and on the sides and front of the Gun.
When you shoot the Gun, a laser beam is projected towards your target and when you are shot, your pack is deactivated for up to 4 seconds.
There are a variety of different game types can be played with the system. The most popular game types are Solo: All against all, and the Team Game: Up to three team's battle for the highest team score.
The game is played in a purpose built arena. A huge glow in the dark maze making it hard to follow players and lots of corners and barrels to hide behind Each game will last approximately 15 minutes which includes a safety briefing and the kit up.
We advise wearing flat shoes and comfortable clothing as it will get warm in the arena and we do not want you to fall over , we have a minimum height of 1.1 meters ( the average hight to be able to hold and move while wearing a pack and gun with out causing a danger to the player or players)
To ensure the safety of all players and marshals we keep very close rules: NO RUNNING , NO CLIMBING , NO PHYSICAL CONTACT , DO NOT DROP THE GUN OR LYE DOWN. AND REMEMBER THE MARSHALS RULE IS FINAL AND HAS THE POWER TO STOP THE GAME OR DE-ACTIVATE GUNS DURING A GAME IF RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED CORRECTLY
We offer as much service as possible for all ages. If you are not to sure about playing please ask one of our staff to show you around the arena and go through the game with you, We also have torches we can fit to the guns for smaller children that are a bit weary of the dark, we will always be happy to put a few more lights on for you aswell if needed (if private game)
